Reaching out to the children of Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone is a country in desperate need, with 7 out of 10 people living in poverty, AIDS affecting much of the population and with the second highest infant mortality rate in the world. Hundreds of children in Sierra Leone sleep on orphanage floors without so much as a toy, a mosquito net or money for food.

You’ve helped us provide meals to children in similar situations all over the world through our Every Child Every Day program. Now, you have the chance to change the lives of these children, just like you did for the children in the neighboring country, Liberia.

Our ministry partner in Liberia, Pastor Alan Klayee, is asking us to help him reach across the border to help these little ones. Pastor Alan would lead and oversee the ministry, but he needs your help; he needs food.

 Our goal is to raise £14,000 in the UK over the next 21 days to feed 1,000 vulnerable children in Sierra Leone everyday for a year.
